China Travel Vaccines 2026

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends several travel vaccines for a 2026 visit to the People's Republic of China. The UK recommends reviewing the latest vaccine recommendations for China at least 8 weeks before your trip.

China Chikungunya

China's Centre for Health Protection of the Department of Health announced that an outbreak of the mosquito-transmitted Chikungunya fever had occurred in Shunde, Guangdong, beginning in July 2025 and triggered by imported cases. Additionally, Hong Kong reported both travel-related and local chikungunya cases in 2025.

China Dengue

In May 2025, a total of 126 dengue cases were reported in China. The number of dengue cases is higher than in the same period in 2024 (n=109).

China Travel Advisories
